Coffee with Kalyn Episodes
These are some of the episodes I’ve edited for Kalyn.
The audio from the videos are uploaded to audio podcasts platforms. So, the audio quality is important and I keep sound effects to a minimum.
I add visuals where it seems natural, careful not to overdo it. These are videos that people put on in the background while they relax, do chores, run errands, etc.

Educational Video with Studies
This video had a lot of information from peer reviewed studies. My job as an editor is to make this information easier for people to understand and apply to their lives.
Throughout the videos, you’ll see a lot of graphics and studies visually referenced to help note the most important information and to help viewers not feel overwhelmed.
Creative Vision Board Video
This is a video I filmed and edited in 2023. I wanted to include it because it shows examples of experimental editing.
The concept for the video was, “If A24 made a YouTube tutorial.”
On the editing side, this resulted in mixing 4 different genres (classical, folk, jazz, and electronica). I avoided smooth music transitions, opting for jarring cuts.
I experimented with new fonts and unique ways showing b-roll.
